(Cleveland) - Cleveland State University is trying something different to attract new freshmen, something that could save you a lot of money.
CSU said in a news release that if a new freshman finishes the Fall 2020 semester with at least a 2.75 GPA, their tuition for Spring 2021 will be free. CSU calls it the "2-for-1 Tuition Promise."
CSU President Harlan Sands says it's a way to help students and families who are dealing with financial issues related to the pandemic.
Other CSU students aren't being left out. Returning undergrads who have high enough grade levels will recieve credits at the campus bookstore, and graduate students from out of state will pay in-state tuition rates, if their undergraduate degree was from a school in Ohio.
