The Cavaliers played a complete game in front of the home crowd as the Cavs honored Cavs of the past and the late great Fred Mcleod.

The first quarter started as any other. Both teams played well. The Cavs starters all had big plays that helped carry the Cavs to their first win of the season. The first quarter was close with both teams shooting well and scoring. The Cavs young players showed the potential that made the Cavs select them with a first round pick. It all started with an assist from Thompson to Garland. From that moment on in the first quarter the Cavs would go shot for shot with the Pacers but would trail 28-26 after the 1st quarter.

SPECIAL NOTE: Congrats to Tristan Thompson who made his first career 3 point shot.

In the second quarter the cavs would out score the Pacers 39-20. During this run. The cavs would lead by as much as 20. Vets Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson would both make great plays. Love finished with 19 points and Tristan finished with 15 in the 1st half while helping the Cavs lead 65-48.

In the second half the Cavs continued to control the game with finding open shots. On defense the cavs were defending and pressuring the Pacers shots making the Pacers rush and miss shots. The Cavs went on to win the game 110-99. The Pacers would try to make a comeback but the Cavs would match every shot. The Cavs looked to be in Midseason form tonight. While it is not the expectation, it shows what this team can be.
