ORLANDO--The Cavs were once down by 20 points in the second quarter. But they fought hard against the Orlando Magic but ran out of gas as the Cavs fell to the Magic 94-85.

Cavs Veteran Tristan Thompson and second year guard Collin Sexton led the Cavs with 16 points. But John Beilein, who coached his first NBA game wants his guys to learn how to play the game.

Below are a few highlights from the game:

But it was the Orlando Magic who was able to maintain focus and win this game.

After the Magic led 53-33 in the second quarter with 2:37 remaining, the Cavs went on a 21-6 run to bring the game within five (59-54) led by Sexton's three pointer and Thompson's two consecutive buckets.

But the Magic sprinted away in the fourth quarter with key three pointer by Terrence Ross and Mo Bamba.

Both teams play again this Saturday. Cavs will host the Indiana Pacers on their home opener. Pregame coverage begins at 6pm with Greg Brinda live from the new Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Tipoff is 8pm on Newsradio WTAM 1100. I will host postgame coverage after Tito's Nightcap Recap.

Magic will head to Atlanta to face the Hawks.
