It's a changing of the guard in L-A. Lakers President Magic Johnson abruptly quit last night before the Lakers final game of the season.
Johnson announced his decision to leave the team in front of members of the media during an hour long session that spilled out into the hallways of the Staples Center.
Johnson did not notify Lakers owner Jeanie Buss of his decision to leave the team before alerting the media to his plans.
Magic told reporters he was happier when he wasn't the Lakers president and that that's the life he wants to return to.
