(Cleveland) - As traffic stops go, this is exhibit 'A' of what not to do.
Imani Edwards is now charged with Felonious Assault and Failure to Comply, with other charges pending, after she led several police departments on a pursuit, which began at the Wallings Road exit from Northbound 77, and finally ended with at East 105th street and St. Clair Avenue on the East Side.
An Ohio State Patrol cruiser and two Newburgh Heights police cruisers were damaged in the incident, and - as you'll see on the video - the back end of the minivan Edwards was driving was badly crumpled by a sudden impact during the elongated chase, which had several starts and stops.
No one was injured, though at least two police officers were nearly hit by Edwards as they tried to get her out of the vehicle, with the chase then continuing from there.
