CLEVELAND - 26-year-old Trooper, J.M. Norton was already responding to a crash, when 23-year-old Dasaree Sanchez failed to stop at a stop sign, entering Norton's path.
It happened at the intersection of West 130th Street and Kirton Avenue just after 3 A.M. Sunday morning.
Additional troopers responded and found Sanchez to be highly intoxicated.
Both Sanchez and Trooper Norton were taken to MetroHealth for treatment.Upon release, Sanchez was arrested and charged with OVI, driving under suspension, and failure to yield among other charges.
Trooper Norton was treated for minor injuries.
