(Cleveland) - The Christmas season is always busy at Cleveland's Hopkins International Airport, but several carriers have now announced changes that will affect travel plans well into the new year.
Delta Airlines has added three direct flights to Boston-Logan each day. Though, in a few months, United had planned on dropping the same number of daily flights between Cleveland and Boston, amounting to a shuffling of economy class seats from one carrier to another.
As part of Delta's east coast expansion, however, those flying into Boston from Cleveland will now be able to get new connecting flights to international locales, such as London, Dublin and Lisbon.
Frontier Airlines, meanwhile, has announced new direct flights from Hopkins to Florida. The new daily flights to Palm Beach have already begun, while direct flights to Sarasota, in the Florida panhandle, will begin at the end of this week.
