Ohio Casino Revenue Up in September

(Cleveland) - The Ohio Lottery and Casinos Commission has released its September numbers, and overall the revenue picture is good.

Revenue at Ohio casinos was up four percent in September, over the same month in 2017. A big reason for that are the slots-only 'Racino' locations, which were up 8.1 percent in September of 2018, at 85.7 million dollars in revenue for the month.

The number one earning casino for the first nine months of 2018 was the Hard Rock 'Rocksino' in Northfield Park, which was taken over by MGM in July. The Jack Casino in downtown Cleveland was fourth in the state in September earnings, though it did lead the small cluster of Ohio casinos that allow table gaming.
