(Columbus) -- Fatal drug overdoses are at a record high in Ohio. The Ohio Department of Health says this week that the deaths have increased by more than 20 percent in the past two years. They say more than 4800 people overdosed and died in 2017, an increase of more than 800. The synthetic opioid fentanyl contributed to nearly 75% of the deaths and the health department says more than 3400 people overdosed on that substance and died last year.
