(CLEVELAND) - As part of the NBA Finals 2018 presented by YouTubeTV, the NBA and the Cleveland Cavaliers, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente and State Farm, opened a new NBA Cares Health & Wellness Center at Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center this afternoon
The space includes both a refurbished Health & Wellness Room and a technology room.
The new spaces will provide youth and families with a safe place to play and resources to help them explore educational interests.
Cavaliers players, coaches and executives, as well as NBA legends and league executives, joined students for various activities and cut the ribbon on their newly transformed spaces, which feature new computers, tablets and other digital tools, furniture, books, a new refrigerator and fitness equipment.
