Photos Released Of Plane That Crashed Into Lake Erie

(Cleveland) - There's new information about the crash of a small plane into Lake Erie in December of 2016 that killed the pilot and five passengers.  The FAA has released photos of the plane's wreckage.

John Fleming's Cessna 525 broke apart on impact with the lake.

Photos, in addition to ones of debris, also includes items from inside the plane, including personal items belonging to the victims.

The plane went down into the lake shortly after takeoff from Burke Lakefront Airport,  Fleming was piloting the plane.  His wife and sons, along with two neighbors, were all killed.  They were returning to Columbus after having flown to Cleveland to see a Cavaliers game.

The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed.
