(CLEVELAND) Protesters will demand billions, not millions from opioid manufactures and distributors to help fight the epidemic. Facing Addiction with NCADD and the Fed Up! Coalition have organized the protest from 8:00 to 11:00 this morning in front of the Carl B. Stokes Federal U.S. Courthouse at 801 West Superior Avenue.
Lawyers from both sides will meet to discuss settlement terms from opioid manufacturers and distributors. The protest groups want the money to go back to community to help repair the damage caused by opioids.
