(Mayfield) -- The company at the heart of controversy over canceled school trips to Washington, D.C. is declaring bankruptcy. Discovery Tours filed for Chapter Seven bankruptcy yesterday as more than 450 complaints were filed with the Ohio attorney general. The Mayfield-based company canceled Mentor's eighth-grade trip last week and left other school districts hanging amid unpaid hotel bills.
