(Cleveland) - Ohio's walleye and perch fishing seasons are in full swing.
Ohio Department of Natural Resources officials say anglers can start bringing six walleye home today, as long as they're 15 inches or longer.
The daily yellow perch limit is 30, with no restrictions on the fishes' length.
Fishing experts say perch will be plentiful this year in the western basin of Lake Erie.
Cleveland fishermen Newsradio WTAM 1100 spoke with at the East 55th Street Marina say they are expecting a good walleye season, much better than last year.
They believe fish are ready to bite after being under a frozen Lake Erie most of the winter.
They are also have no problems with the limits the State of Ohio has put on walleye and yellow perch.
