Police Searching For Man Who Shot Two Brothers

CLEVELAND - Cleveland Police are searching for a man said to have shot two brothers in a car deal gone bad.

According to police, 23 year old Denzel Pillars met the brothers at his Euclid Avenue car shop before taking them to Pennsylvania to look cars to buy.

Upon returning to Cleveland, Pillars pulled out a gun an tried to rob the brothers on E. 72nd Street under the I-90 overpass. Pillars shot one of the brothers in the abdomen when he refused to hand over his cash. 

Pillars then shot the other twice in the abdomen and lower back.the brothers then jumped from the moving vehicle, one of them suffering a head injury doing so.

Both brothers are at University Hospitals, one in critical condition.  

Anyone with information, or who may know where to find the shooting suspect are asked to contact Cleveland Police.

Description of Pillars, from the Cleveland Police Department report: HEIGHT: 6’00”  WEIGHT 235  HAIR: brown EYES: Brown  Last known address is on Rosemond.  Mr. Pillers was last seen in a beige colored suv (possibly a Chevy) with an unknown female driving.  Mr. Pillers is considered armed and dangerous.
