CLEVELAND -- The Indians 10-game home stand at Progressive Field continues Monday night at 6:10 pm ET when the Detroit Tigers visit for an early Central Division showdown. The Tribe and Tigers are scheduled for a four-game series.
Pitching match ups were announced on Sunday with two-time Cy Young Award Winner Corey Kluber taking the mound on Monday against Tigers veteran left-hander Francisco Liriano.
Josh Tomlin, Carlos Carrasco and Trevor Bauer will also gets starts against the Tigers, while Mike Clevinger who pitched on Sunday will get the nod for Friday's series-opener against the Toronto Blue Jays in Cleveland.
The Indians won two of three against the Kansas City Royals over the weekend improving their record to 4-5 on the season, while the Tigers led by first-year skipper Ron Gardenhire have begun their campaign 4-4 sweeping the Chicago White Sox over the weekend.
