(Youngstown) -- Police in Youngstown are fielding complaints about zombie-like raccoons. According to WKBN-TV, more than a dozen people have called to report seeing the animals acting oddly in the middle of the day, standing on their hind legs and snarling.
Officials say the raccoons are most likely suffering from distemper and not rabies. The viral disease often causes raccoons to lose their fear of humans.
