(Westlake) - Administrators at Cuyahoga Community College's Westshore Campus, Tuesday, broke ground on a new, $40 million project to expand the campus.
The 85,000 square foot addition to the Clemens Road campus in Westlake will offer much needed classroom, lab and tutoring space.
It will feature more than 30 classrooms as well as specialized labs dedicated to information technology and engineering.
The expansion could allow Tri-C's Westshore campus to expand its' student population from 2,200 to more than four thousand. The projects is expected to be completed with classes starting in the fall of 2019.
