A lot was made at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis when USC quarterback Sam Darnold decided not to throw, while the other top prospects did in Josh Rosen, Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield.
Darnold opted to wait until his Pro Day at USC to show his arm strength for NFL scouts and personnel and did so on Wednesday. NFL Network broadcasted the USC Pro Day live and they said all 32 teams were in attendance. Darnold was expected to throw about 60-70 passes.
