CLEVELAND - 26-year-old Ashley Brooke Mason, pleaded guilty last month to attempted felonious assault and unlawful sexual contact with a 14-year-old student and will have to register as a sex offender for the next 15 years.
Assistant County Prosecutor Kristin Karkutt, says Mason worked for the Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County and was assigned to work at Parma Senior High School, where she developed a relationship with the student that eventually turned physical.
According to Karkutt, Mason would drive the boy to Cleveland Metroparks Big Creek Reservation, where she allowed him to perform sex acts on her in January and February of 2017.
She was suspended and arrested that February and indicted on multiple counts of sexual battery the following month.
