LeBron James tried really hard to keep the Cavs in the game with his 35 points. But it was the Blazers' front three of CJ McCollum, Damian Lillard and Maurice Harkless who took care of business as Portland defeated Cleveland 113-105.
The Cavs were forced to play small-ball as Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance Jr and Cedi Osman all missed this game due to injury. McCollum, Lillard, and Harkiess were the leading scorers for Portland with 29, 24, and 17 points respectively. With the Portland win, they move to 3rd place in the Western Conference.
But for LeBron James, it was a historic night (albeit with a loss) as he led all scorers, played 41 minutes, and joined the "400 Double-Double" club.
Cavs will travel to Chicago to face the Bulls this Saturday night. If the Cavs win, they will conclude the road trip with a 3-3 record.
