An Apple A Day Won't Keep The Cops Away

WESTLAKE, OH - On 3/13/18 at about 5:11PM, a resident on West Melrose reported a suspicious occupied vehicle parked on the street.  The car was occupied by 2 young persons and unfortunately for them smelled of marijuana.  The driver, a 19 year-old from Rocky River, admitted sole ownership of the suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia located in the car.  The paraphernalia was actually an apple fashioned with holes to smoke marijuana.  The male was arrested and booked into the Westlake jail. During booking, a fictitious West Virginia identification card was also located.  The fake ID indicated that the male was 21 years old.  This brought charges for certain license acts prohibited as well.
