(Cleveland) - Northeast Ohio has a new multi-millionaire. The Queen of Hearts jackpot at the Grayton Road Tavern was won in Wednesday evening's drawing. The prize was $5.5 million dollars.
The owner of the winning ticket was not immediately revealed.
Actually, two tickets were drawn. The first one did not have a card number on it and was discarded.
The second ticket did have a card number which revealed the Queen of Hearts. The lucky card number was 45.
There were four cards left on the board: 30, 45, 49 and 50.
Patrons say it was an exciting night, and even though they did not win. Most vowed to continue playing when the card game resumes.
Tavern owner Jimmy Page says he never dreamed the game would grow as big as it did, and he feels great knowing that it's going to change someone's life forever.
