Perry High Student Arrested In Tainted Candy Scare

CLEVELAND - A female student at Perry High School is under arrest on disorderly conduct and obstructing official business charges.  

She is accused of telling classmates they consumed tainted candy which was brought to the Stark County school earlier this week.  

Six students were hospitalized and 21 reported illness after eating the candy.  They complained of accelerated heart rates and dilated pupils.  

The candy was tested and found to be no source of danger.
