(Cleveland) - A Cuyahoga Falls man is recovering from a self-inflicted knife wound, after leading police on a 45 minute chase into Northfield, through Macedonia, Aurora, Twinsburg, Brecksville, and ending in Broadview Heights Tuesday night.
Officers were able to end the chase on Route 82 with the use of stop sticks, and spent 3 hours trying to talk the man into surrendering.
He gave up after receiving a call from his grandmother. Investigators say the man had blood on his shirt from stabbing himself. They believe he might have been on heroin. The 33 year old was flown to a hospital for treatment.
