The Cavaliers were able to avoid their 5th straight 50 loss season on Wednesday night at the Q beating the Nets 114-85.
Brooklyn coach Jason Kidd decided to rest his starters that included Deron Williams, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Joe Johnson. The team that Kidd put on the floor kept the game close in the 1st half as they trailed by only two 51-49, but could not keep up with the Cavaliers starters and trailed after three 81-64.
Tyler Zeller led the Cavs with 22 points while Dion Waiters chipped in with 19 points and Tristan Thompson recorded his 36th double-double of the season scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
The Cavaliers ended a disappointing season with their 33rd win of the season which is nine more than they won last season.
