The NBA schedule says the Cavaliers season ends on April 16th against the Brooklyn Nets, but in reality the Cavs season is over and Saturday night  did not prove otherwise by losing to the Rockets on Saturday 118-111 at the Q.

Houston started the game on a 17-4 run and never looked back leading by as many as 29 points late in the 3rd quarter. James Harden scored 37 points, but played only three quarters due to Houston coach Kevin McHale's decision not to play Harden in the 4th quarter.

With Harden out the Cavs cut the Rockets lead to 111-102 with 2:34 left, but could not dig out of the early hole they dug for themselves.

Dion Waiters continued his strong play since taking over for the injured Kyrie Irving scoring 26 points and adding 8 assists and Tyler Zeller scored 23 points.

The Cavs will take on the Knicks on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
