Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving has been named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week.

 Irving averaged 29 points, shot 50% from the field, and was 14-15 from the line for a blistering 93% for the week. Kyrie also averaged 6.3 assists and 2.3 steals while playing 34 minutes a game. The Cavs went 2-1 for the week by defeating New York, and Orlando while dropping one to Miami in a game that was unexpectedly close on Saturday night.
