(Cleveland) - The Browns management has sent a message to the locker room...no one is safe.
That's the take of former Browns General Manager Phil Savage on the surprise trade of running back Trent Richardson Wednesday to the Indianapolis Colts.
Savage was on "Wills and Snyder" Thursday morning and called the trade "tough to stomach" for Browns fans. He thinks the message fans are getting is that the team has already given up on the 2013 season.
Savage thinks it's pretty obvious the Browns felt the running back position was expendable and they could possible pick up another player. But they'll only get a 15 to 25 pick next year, depending on where the Colts finish this season.
