On the final day of camp open to the fans, a bit of good news came late in practice. Here are the notes from Day 16 of camp.

-Coach Chudzinski said that Trent Richardson will play in Thursday night’s contest against the Lions, as he will play in a series or two.

-Chud also said that his starting units will play into the 2nd quarter and possible the entire 1st half.

-Brandon Bogotay will get all of the kicking duties on Thursday as the team continues with the kicking competition between Bogotay and Shayne Graham.

-Montario Hardesty came back to practice as he suffered a dislocated thumb on Monday. He most likely will miss this week’s game.

-Despite Brandon Weeden getting all of the team’s first team snaps through camp, Chudzinski still isn’t ready to name Weeden his starter. Chud said that the competition between Weeden and Jason Campbell is close, but it’d be hard to see Campbell take over considering he hasn’t taken one snap with the first team all summer long.

-The team will have a walk through on Wednesday as they prepare to face the Lions Thursday evening.
