VIDEO: New Trail into Rocky River Reservation

(Fairview Park) - A ribbon cutting was held Thursday, April 25, for the Mastick Road Connector Trail. This will allow people from Fairview Park, around West 210th Street, to be able to walk or bicycle easily into and out of the Rocky River Reservation.

The trail can be accessed near the intersection of Eaton and Mastick Roads.

Construction of the trail was a joint project of the City of Fairview Park, the Cleveland Metroparks, and Cuyahoga County. The county rebuilt the bridge portion of Mastick Road that had a pedestrian section added. The Metroparks built the paved portion that leads to the intersection with Valley Parkway, and Fairview Park added the portion that runs to the intersection of Eaton and Mastick.
