EPA Announces New 'Clean Car' Rules

The Biden administration is rolling out new vehicle emissions standards aimed at putting more electric cars on the roads.

The rules will aim to have electric vehicles make up two-thirds of all new car and truck sales by the year 2032, cutting greenhouse emissions in half.

The rules are less stringent than the ones proposed by the EPA last year, in a concession to automakers and union workers.

President Biden promised that "U.S. workers will lead the world on autos making clean cars and truck, each stamped 'Made in America'
