Jalen Hurts is returning to his Houston roots to help a family in need.
The Eagles quarterback, who played football at Houston's Channel View High School, has offered to pay for funeral expenses for North Shore High School football player Jarvon Coles.
Channel View and North Shore were considered to be rival schools.
Jarvon was found dead from a gunshot wound at a party on Saturday.
"Just learned that #Eagles QB Jalen Hurts read about the passing of this football player from a rival high school and decided to pay for his funeral expenses," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport shared on social media. "Heartwarming end to a gut-wrenching story."
