A Mentor-on-the-Lake police officer is earning kudos for his help recently in delivering a baby.
An expectant father called the police last Wednesday with word that the expectant mother was in labor and that the baby's head was already visible.
Sergeant Daubenmire and Officer Brodzinski quickly responded to the scene and Daubenmire delivered the baby, a healthy little girl.
