House Intelligence Chair Turner Warns Of Looming National Security Threat

The White House says Russia is working on an 'anti-satellite capability' that lawmakers are calling a 'serious national security threat'.

National Security Advisor John Kirby says the technology is not ready yet, but admitted that "Russia's pursuit of this particular capability is troubling".

Kirby says the tech would be "space-based" and not something that "can be used to attack human beings or cause physical destruction here on Earth."
