Reward is Offered for Would-Be Gun Thieves

(Cleveland) A $3,000 reward is offered by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms along with the National Shooting Sports Foundation for information leading to the arrest of three people wanted in connection with a string of break-ins in Lorain County last month. Back on January 31st gun stores in Amherst and North Ridgeville along with the Rural King in Carlisle Township were broken into all in the early morning hours. While no guns were taken, the thieves did manage to steal ammunition and magazines. And, most recently, ATF agents believe the same three individuals were responsible for an unsuccessful break-in attempt at the Cabella's store in Avon. Anyone who knows something is asked to contact the ATF at 888-ATFTIPS, or the ATF website.
