NASA's first trip to the moon in more than half a century has been delayed by another year.

NASA says its Artemis II mission will be bumped to September 2026 to give the agency "more time to work through the challenges."

The mission had originally been set to take place later this year, but has already been delayed twice.

The last time NASA sent astronauts to the moon was 1972 during the Apollo 17 mission.
