Merry Trivmas! WTAM 1100 to air Mike Trivisonno Marathon Christmas Day

WTAM 1100 Celebrates Trivmas with the Best of Mike Trivisonno Christmas Day 8am-Midnight

On Christmas Day, News Radio WTAM 1100 will pay tribute to one of its most beloved and popular personalities, Mike Trivisonno, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 74. WTAM will air a special program called Trivmas, featuring the best of Trivisonno’s shows from his long and successful career as a radio host.

Trivisonno, also known as Triv, was a Cleveland native who started as a frequent caller on the Sportsline radio show, hosted by Pete Franklin. He then became a full-time personality on WNCX, and later joined WTAM in 1994, where he hosted his own self-titled afternoon talk show. He was widely referred to as “Mr. Know It All” by Franklin and his fans, and he discussed topics ranging from sports, politics, local issues, current events, and more. He was also known for his charitable work, raising over $5 million for local causes, such as Coats for Kids.

To honor Trivisonno’s legacy, WTAM 1100 will broadcast Trivmas on December 25, from 8 a.m. to midnight. The program will be hosted by Big Daddy Marty Allen, another veteran comedian and radio personality, who worked with Trivisonno. Allen will play some of the most memorable and hilarious segments from The Mike Trivisonno Show. The program will air Christmas Day 8am to Midnight.

Trivmas will be a chance for Clevelanders to remember and appreciate one of their own, who entertained and informed them for many years. As Trivisonno himself once said, "I love Cleveland. I love the people. I love the fans. I love the city. I love the sports teams. I love everything about Cleveland.
