Here's a new one - a flight from New York City to Belgium was forced to turn around after a horse got loose.

The Boeing 747 operated by Air Atlanta Icelandic contacted Air Traffic Control telling them a horse had gotten loose in the cargo hold and could not be secured.

The plane was able to return to JFK Airport, where pilots requested veterinary assistance. The plane took off again about three hours later.

No passengers were aboard the cargo flight.
