Yesterday 10/5 we broke ground on a 50,000 Sq. ft expansion of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
- Helping us mark the moment were a bunch of elected officials, donors, sponsors and Hall of Fame Inductees:
- 1992 Inductee Sam Moore from Sam & Dave
- “Hold On, I’m Comin” “Soul Man” “I Thank You”
- 1995 Inductee Martha Reeves From Martha & The Vandellas,
- “Dancing in the Streets” “Heatwave” and “Jimmy Mack”
- 1998 Inductee Michelle Phillips From The Mamas & the Papas
- “Monday, Monday” California Dreamin” and “Go Where You Wanna Go”
- 2021 Inductee Charlotte Caffey and Gina Schock from The GoGos
- “We Got the Beat” “Vacation”and “Heads Over Heels
They were joined by a number of State of Ohio representatives including Speaker Stevens and Represtative Jaimie Callander
As well as County Executive Chris Ronayne and City of Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb
The new 50,000 square foot expansion, gives us space for:
- large-scale traveling exhibits, increasing our exhibition hall by 40%
- indoor concerts, private events, community events, and educational programs
- an onsite education center
- and lakefront activation
FIRST TIME EVER LIVE INDUCTION BROADCAST
- 2023 Induction will broadcast live on Disney+ on November 3.
- Edited show will air on ABC January 1, 2024
- Inductions return to Cleveland Fall 2024
