LOS ANGELES - A robbery suspect was chased by police for more than an hour on Thursday before they got help from a motorist who pinned the suspect in on a busy surface street. At one point, even drove up onto a sidewalk to try and circumvent the traffic congestion but was unsuccessful. At least seven LAPD units were trailing the vehicle and no one was injured.
