The Guardians are slowly slipping out of playoff contention. The team fell to the Twins 8-3 from Progressive Field. Trevor Stephan got the loss after surrendering five runs while recording two outs in relief. Bo Naylor slugged a two-run home for Cleveland, which dropped to 66-and-73. The Guardians trail Minnesota by seven games for first place in the AL Central. Cleveland will try to salvage the series this afternoon.
