Helping You Figure Out Scams

(Cleveland) - Cuyahoga County's Department of Consumer Affairs has come up with a new way to be alerted about new and developing scams. You can sign up for Scam Squad Alerts, now available by phone, text or email. The alerts are designed to help people who live in Cuyahoga County spot and avoid scams.

The alerts are sent through the county's ReadyNotify mass notification system.

To sign up, go to readynotify.us and select "Register" or "Login." Once you are in your managed account, select "Scam Squad Alerts." You can also sign up by calling the Cuyahoga County Department of Consumer Affairs at 216-443-7035 or the Office of Emergency Management at 216-443-5700.
