A submarine that allows tourists to visit the wreckage of the Titanic has gone missing in the Atlantic Ocean.

The small submersible craft is operated by OceanGate Expeditions, which charges $250,000 for the chance to visit the legendary shipwreck in person.

Coast Guard officials confirmed Monday that they're searching for the lost sub.

OceanGate says it is "exploring and mobilizing all options to bring the crew back safely." The company did not say if any tourists were aboard.
