Guardians Beat Twins 2-1 - Split Series - McKenzie 10 K's - Red Sox On Deck

The Guardians edged the Twins 2-1 in their series finale from Minneapolis. Triston McKenzie made his season debut and struck out 10 batters over five scoreless innings in his start. He was activated from the 60-day IL over the weekend. James Karinchak earned the win after pitching a scoreless inning of relief while Josh Naylor and Andres Gimenez each drove in a run. Cleveland split the four-game series and is tied for second in the AL Central at 27-and-32. The Guardians open a three-game series against the Red Sox in Cleveland tomorrow.
