Sandy Koufax's 1958 Dodgers Glove Hits Auction Block

The baseball glove worn by Sandy Koufax when the Dodgers first came to Los Angeles in 1958 is hitting the auction block.

The Rawlings glove, which is being auctioned off by the Memorabilia Network, features Koufax’s autograph and the number 32 – his jersey number – in black marker, according to the auction house. It’s one of only seven Koufax game-worn gloves known to exist.

The glove was on Koufax’s hand on April 18th, 1958, when the Dodgers played their first game in L.A. after relocating from Brooklyn. However, because Dodgers Stadium didn’t open until 1962, the team played the game in L.A. Memorial Coliseum.

Bids are being accepted through June 14th, according to the Memorabilia Network.
