A Toronto teen is dead after he tried to climb on top of a speeding subway train, authorities say.
The 15-year-old was on the train with two friends when he decided to climb onto the roof, according to Toronto police. He opened the door that leads to an adjoining car and climbed up between them – but before he could make it to the roof, he hit his head on an “unknown object,” police say. He died in a local hospital two days later.
Toronto police have classified the incident as “death by misadventure.”
