LORAIN COUNTY - On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, just after 3:30 am, the Lorain County Sheriff's Office received multiple alarms from 430 Oberlin- Elyria Road (Rural King). Upon arrival, deputies discovered the business's front door was forced open. With assistance from the Elyria Police Department, deputies and officers entered the building and found that many firearms were stolen. Detectives from the Sheriff's Office arrived and observed two vehicles enter the parking lot around 3:20 that morning after viewing the surveillance video.
A total of five suspects exited both vehicles, entered the store, and stole an undisclosed amount of firearms and ammunition.
Detectives from the Sheriff's Office are actively investigating this incident and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the listed individuals.
