NASA Wants Humans On The Moon By The End Of The Decade

NASA is hoping to send humans back to the moon by the end of this decade, one official says.

Howard Hu, manager of NASA's Orion program, told the BBC that this week's Artemis I launch was "the first step we’re taking to long-term deep space exploration".

He says the next goal is to establish a permanent space station on the Moon - and have human beings living there "in this decade".

The ultimate goal, Hu says, is a voyage to Mars.
