NYC Subway Shooting Suspect Has Ties to Ohio

(New York NY) -- The accused New York City subway shooter has ties to a number of states, including Ohio, where he apparently bought the gun he used.

Various reports say that Frank James bought the gun 11 years ago at a pawn shop near Columbus. The gun was purchased through the pawn shop from a licensed firearms dealer.

James was arrested Wednesday on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, which is across the East River from where the subway car was shot up.
